Semi-double scented flowers that are a mix of purple, magenta, grey and pink. Growing well in the Rose hedge near Stewarts, Hardy in zones 4 through 9, 8 feet tall x 5 feet wide.

148 York and Lancaster Damask Rose Introduced in 1551, Hardy in zones 4 through 9, 5 feet tall x 7 feet wide. White flowers, non recurrent.

67) 'ZEPHERINE DROUHIN' (Bourbon) Climbing Rose, Introduced in 1868, Hardy in zones 5 or 6 through 9, 20 feet wide. Growing well in a neighbors yard in Voorheesville pegged to the ground, blooms all summer when dead headed and fertilized. L

June through October I take cuttings from roses to root. Smaller plants that can only contribute a few cuttings are mixed with those of other varieties so we wont know what they are until they flower (I will label them with a 5 didget number and keep track of where I got the cuttings from). Some varieties like 'Fantin Latour' where we have a bush that can contribute hundreds of cuttings and they will be labeled. In spring I will pot all the rooted rose cuttings in one gallon pots labeled on the side with a paint pen as best we can (often its just the year planted, the 5 digit number and what the soil mix is). Later when they flower I will add the variety name.

We dont sell any of our roses until they have flowered proving the variety.
