Crop 030 'Harison's Yellow', Harrison's Yellow, Harrisons Yellow or Harisons Yellow (Persian foetida Rose x Scottish spinosissima Rose ) Hybrid Old Garden Rose zone 4 thru 9, 8'x8' Double and semi-double yellow flowers bloom for several weeks in late spring to early summer, introduced by Harison in 1830. Propagated and grown on their own roots for retail sale at the Flowering Shrub Farm in Voorheesville, NY (click roseraie link for more information on how we propagate and grow roses). This picture of a very old 'Harisons Yellow' was taken many years ago in the Hill Towns above the Hudson Vally. My daughter standing on the road was around 12 maybe at the time gives you an idea of how large it is.

we propagate this rose by growing it into large pots then dividing them in March while they are still dormant (usually using a saws all). Those that survive this treatment may be sold in spring after they come out of dormancy (I keep a certain number to do the same with next time).
