At Azalea House Flowering Shrub Farm we grow plants hardy to zones 3, 4 and 5 within Albany County, NY.
We sell those plants that have previously flowered (verifying the variety) during our plant sale.
We have the traditional Old Roses introduced before 1856 that are hardy, disease resistant and fragrant along with select varieties of modern roses that share those qualities.
We are also growing the Native Species Azaleas and Rhododendrons (Pinxterbloom, Flame and Rosebay currently) that were here in America even before colonists came, that have proven so hard to find locally in recent years. They are hardy, fragrant and have proven easier to grow than many modern hybrids.
