In January 1974 I drove my VW Squareback down through California (visiting family and friends wherever I could) and then East from LA to Kingsville, Texas finishing up by driving up the east coast and arriving in Voorheesville in March.

Sleeping in my truck at night (in Cape Cod) I would get up at 2 AM and walk to the light house at Wellfleet (I think) to take pictures of the rising sun.
I traveled to England and Ireland with a group from the College of Saint Rose. My favorite place to walk when I lived nearby in the late 1950's and later was on the long walk from Windsor Castle through the Park.
